Last Wednesday, December 21st, we celebrated our traditional Christmas Fair at school. At 09:30 a.m. we had a Christmas Carols concert where our Early Years and Primary students sang. Then, at 10:30 a.m., the “chocolatada” and the prize raffle were held.
The list of songs was:
Pre Nursery & Nursery: Ten Tubby Snowmen
Reception: Santa Claus is coming to town
Year 1: Jingle Bell rock
Year 2: Frosty the Snowman
Year 3: Counting down to Christmas
Year 4: Must be Santa
Year 5: Behind every door
Year 6A: Tonight
Year 6B: Sign up, it’s Christmas!
Secondary band: Somewhere only we know
We were able to record the performances on video and, in the newsletter sent internally, the parents have received the links to be able to see and hear all the students again.
During the raffle, our Headteacher, Alex Wreth, was in charge of “singing" the numbers that the children were drawing randomly. Thanks to the generosity of our families and collaborating companies, we were able to give away bottles of wine, Iberian ham palettes, books, vouchers for cosmetics and dental treatments, gift cards, a flag signed by the entire Osasuna team, signed jerseys gifted by the players Moi Gómez and Chimy Ávila, a popcorn maker, board games, Christmas baskets, boxes of goodies, Rituals gift boxes, a folding scooter and much more!
All the money raised with the prize raffle and the “chocolatada” will be donated to “Banco de Alimentos de Navarra” (a local food bank).
